The EBO Mini Series FamilyBot builds on the core features of the EBO SE mobile camera robot, including whole-home mobility, two-way audio, auto-docking, and 24/7 recording. The Mini Series introduces upgrades in video quality, connectivity, docking accuracy, and interactive pet features.
The EBO Mini Series includes two models: EBO Mini and EBO Mini Sport. EBO Mini Sport adds a quieter brushless motor, AI recognition, and customizable eye styles for a more personalized experience.
Whether you want to stay connected with your family or check on your pets remotely, the EBO Mini Series is designed to provide companionship and make everyday life smarter, easier, and more fun.
So, what’s new compared with EBO SE? Let’s take a closer look.
1. Upgraded 2K Camera for Clearer Vision
EBO SE features a 1080P camera, while the EBO Mini Series upgrades to 2K resolution for clearer and more detailed video. The Mini Series also adds four video filters: Standard, Bright, Vivid, and Film.
Whether you are checking on pets during the day or talking with family at night, the upgraded image quality helps you feel closer to home.

2. Faster and More Stable Wi-Fi Connection
EBO SE supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks. The EBO Mini Series is equipped with an upgraded flagship chip and Wi-Fi 6, offering faster transmission, lower latency, and improved connection stability for real-time remote monitoring.
3. Quieter Movement
EBO Mini Sport features a brushless motor that delivers silent movement at just 48.5 dB, helping reduce disturbances to pets and family members. In comparison, EBO Mini and EBO SE use brushed motors.

4. Enhanced Docking Performance
Both models support automatic recharging, allowing the robot to return to its charging dock when the battery is low. Compared with EBO SE’s infrared docking system, the EBO Mini Series adds route memory to improve docking accuracy.

5. EBO Voice Message
Previously available only on higher-end FamilyBot models like EBO Air 2 Plus and EBO Max, the EBO Voice Message feature is now included in the EBO Mini Series. Just type messages in the app, and the robot will speak it aloud for you. It’s a convenient and fun way to communicate when you’re unable or not in a position to talk.

6. More Interactive Features for Pets
The EBO Mini Series offers enhanced pet interaction features. It includes a built-in laser pointer, expanded interactive actions, and sound effects. EBO SE supports 3 teasing actions, while the Mini Series offers 10 actions and 17 sound effects.

7. Smarter Random Patrol for Pets
The EBO Mini Series upgrades its 3-minute random patrol with more pet-friendly and interactive features. During patrol mode, the robot automatically moves around your home, activates the laser pointer for pet play, and records videos automatically. In comparison, EBO SE only performs basic random patrols without these interactive functions.
8. More Expressive Eyes
EBO SE uses simple status indicator eyes. The EBO Mini Series introduces animated eye expressions for a more interactive appearance. EBO Mini Sport additionally supports customizable eye styles.
