If you purchase the basic version of ROLA PetPal, you can enjoy the features of the main unit and the storage module. If you want to experience related functions such as AI automatic pet teasing, you need to purchase ROLA PetPal Interactive Toys separately. After replacing the storage module of the basic version, you can use them in combination. If you want to experience functions like automatic treat dispensing, you need to purchase ROLA PetPal Treat Dispenser separately. After replacing the storage module of the basic version, you can use them in combination.
Does ROLA PetPal have the ability to automatically avoid obstacles and prevent falls?
ROLA PetPal has an automatic obstacle avoidance function. During autonomous movement, if it detects an obstacle, it will slow down to avoid collision. However, it does not have a fall prevention feature.
Can ROLA PetPal be set to patrol on a designated path?
No, it cannot. ROLA PetPal does not have intelligent path planning capabilities, so it cannot patrol along a designated route.
Can ROLA PetPal climb stairs?
No, it cannot.
What is the sound level of ROLA PetPal when it runs? Will it disturb the rest of the family?
ROLA PetPal uses a brushed silent motor, which is very quiet during operation and hardly generates any strong noise. It will not disturb the rest of the family and pets. In a 44.7 decibel environment, when the machine speed is set to 70 and running, the sound level fluctuates between 56.4 and 63.7 decibels within a 30 cm range of the robot.
Are the playful stick and rolling balls standard equipment? Can they be replaced by myself?
When purchasing the interactive toy module, the playful stick and rolling balls are standard. They also support DIY replacement.
Is the angle of the playful stick fixed?
The vertical angle of the playful stick is adjustable. There are three height settings available in the app for selection.
Can ROLA PetPal dispense wet food for cats?
It supports dispensing pet food or freeze-dried treats that are less than 12mm in size. Wet food is not supported. Long strip jerkies are not suitable either.
Will the inside of the feeding module be very difficult to clean?
No, the feeding module can be disassembled separately for cleaning.
