EBO Air 2 FamilyBot

Been having blast with this robot o got it so my sister could come visit when ever she wants since she is states away it was so easy to connect to it and get her connected. My cats are not even scared of it n they have been playing with it and the laser is such a good way to keep them busy.

Overall a good purchase! The wife and I found out about EBO through Facebook and decided to give it a try to check-in on our animals while we are away from home.
PROS
>Easy to setup & maneuver
>Tracks work well-enough to get over most surfaces
>Night vision is good
>Audio & video are clear
>Battery life
>Record of use is awesome to determine who used the EBO last and when

CONS
>Difficulty going home on its own if you have a large floorplan & not near the docking station when you send it home.
>Traversing over certain large carpets (expected); however, any obstacle that is 1/4" or higher will also be a challenge
>Difficulty using the screen capture and video recording

The battery seems to be easy to die overnight. I hope that is not long term issue and just me not timing its charging correctly. I would hate for its battery life to deteriorate so quickly. I do love how small and cute it is, so easy for others to get on to interact with my cat or myself.

The best by of the year

I can't give it all 5 stars since there are issues, but I also don't have any other robots to compare it to. The video quality is excellent, it's cute and I think it's reasonably priced. It's auto-play function is quite cute and handy. My cats love it. One issue is the charging station tends to move upon the robot finding it or getting close, it can sometimes knock it out of detection. Especially if your pet/cat likes to play or move it. It can go through bumps and floor molding, but only manually. The program itself doesn't know how to navigate the bumps to get back home. It's patrol is quite limited and has potential. Otherwise, it struggles finding it's home base often. Manual piloting is a learning curve honestly, but it's possible. It's nice that there are options to change the control type.
