Which kind of pets are suitable for the ROLA PetTracker?
ROLA PetTracker is designed for both cats and dogs. Due to the size of the device and pet body types, we recommend it for cats and dogs over 4 kg. If a dog has very long fur, it may cover the lens, but the product comes with a fur-pressing pad to minimize this issue.
Does ROLA PetTracker come with a pet collar or harness?
No. ROLA PetTracker comes standard with a back clip, fur-pressing pad, and strap, which can be easily adapted to the pet's own collar or harness, so no additional collar or harness is provided.
Can ROLA PetTracker only be worn on the front of the pet's chest?
No, ROLA PetTracker can be attached to a collar or harness using the back clip and strap and can, in theory, be fixed at any angle. However, for the best camera angle, it is recommended to wear it on the pet's chest or back.
Is ROLA PetTracker waterproof? Can it be used on rainy days?
ROLA PetTracker supports life-grade waterproofing. It can be used in rainy days but not submerged in water.
Will the heat generated from long-term wearing of the PetTracker cause burns to the pet or affect the pet's fur?
ROLA PetTracker has a built-in temperature sensor that can detect the temperature in real time and is designed with over-temperature protection. It will not cause burns or harm to the pet, so please use it with confidence. The internal structure and external materials of the ROLA PetTracker are designed to dissipate heat. At the same time, ROLA PetTracker comes with a mounting base for fixation, which also creates a separation from the pet, preventing direct contact with the pet.
I only see a data cable on the official product packaging list, no adapter. Is it not included?
Yes, the adapter is not included in the list of accessories.
Will ROLA PetTracker automatically shut down because it is hot?
No. If the product temperature is greater than 45", the App will provide a temperature warning prompt. Video streaming and other functions cannot be performed when the temperature is greater than 55°. You must wait until the temperature is lower than 40" before it can be turned back on. So, when the device is at high temperature, it will stop all camera-related functions, but ROLA PetTracker itself is still turned on.
